Using Cadence.

These terms describe the public Mac app and managed service. Updated 16 September 2026.

Your account

Use an account you control and keep sign-in codes private. Do not share access, bypass service limits or use Cadence to interfere with other people or systems. Only submit content you are entitled to process.

Review what you write

Speech recognition and AI writing can make mistakes. Review names, facts, numbers and meaning before using generated text or accepting a rewrite. App compatibility varies; some fields require copying and pasting recovered text.

Plans and subscriptions

Free and Pro are described on the Plans page. Pro is US$20 per month, renewing monthly until cancelled. Stripe checkout displays the final payment amount and any applicable tax before purchase. Use Manage billing in Cadence to manage or cancel renewal. See billing, cancellation and refund information.

Availability and updates

Cadence requires compatible hardware, operating-system permissions and internet access. Availability can be affected by maintenance, network issues and upstream services. Cadence applies per-request and service-protection limits even on Pro. The Mac and Windows apps have different setup requirements and compatibility limits. Check the setup guide for your platform.

Privacy

The Privacy page explains how recordings, text, account information and support reports are handled. AI providers process the content needed for your request.
